CHALLENGE

We were commissioned by DBH Serviced Office to develop the interior design and office branding concept for an approximately 2,400-square-metre office complex. The office is located at Kopaszi Dam, in the BudaPart Gate building — a location that already features a strong architectural character and a distinctive natural environment.

The complexity of the task lay in creating an office space that is functional, clearly structured and flexible for long-term use, while at the same time visually reflecting DBH’s brand values and the site’s unique riverside setting along the Danube.

SOLUTION

Our concept focused on the building’s modular structure and the immediate proximity of the Danube. The idea of closeness to nature is reflected consistently in the choice of motifs, colours and forms — not only in the furniture selection, but also in the decorative elements and custom graphic solutions.

The central visual motif of the office branding became the Danube itself: its colour palette, natural and built environment, riverside towns and regions, as well as the world of historic steamships that once navigated the river. These elements appear subtly yet consistently throughout both the office spaces and the communal areas.

When selecting furniture and accessories, natural lightness and the dynamic sense of flow served as guiding principles. To break the monotony of the long corridors, each office was designed to evoke a different Danube-side city through its decoration and bespoke lighting solutions. This approach not only added visual playfulness to the space, but also introduced a new conceptual layer to the naming of the offices.

RESULT

The completed office complex offers a distinctive yet balanced working environment that connects organically to its location while reinforcing the DBH Serviced Office brand. The use of natural materials, the carefully considered graphic system and the Danube-inspired branding together create a space that is not only functional, but also rich in character — for both tenants and visitors.
