CHALLENGE<\/strong><\/p>

In 2022, the National Heritage Institute (N\u00d6RI)<\/a> approached us with the aim of creating a communication tool that could bring the example and messages of Hungary\u2019s greatest heroes closer to high school students. The goal was to find a format that could make the lives of figures such as Lajos Batthy\u00e1ny, S\u00e1ra Salkah\u00e1zi, or Ign\u00e1c Semmelweis more accessible and even become part of history lessons.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

SOLUTION<\/strong><\/p>

So far, 20 episodes of the Sorsford\u00edt\u00f3k<\/a> series have been completed. Some of the short films highlight figures who played key roles in the Battle of Moh\u00e1cs or in the Revolution and War of Independence of 1848\u201349, while others bring the shapers of 20th-century Hungarian history closer to viewers. In creating the shorts, we used collage techniques, allowing us to present not only well-known heroes but also the faces of lesser-known historical figures.<\/p>

Our team also developed several of the Institute\u2019s social media platforms: on its Instagram<\/a> account, we presented its activities, national and historical memorial sites in an engaging, accessible way, posting regularly about national holidays, memorial days, and events. On the Instagram account of the Fiumei Road Cemetery<\/a>, we highlighted that the cemetery is far more than a burial site\u2014it is a cultural and historical memorial place worth visiting. Our graphic designers created the visual identity for the Institute\u2019s social media posts as well as the visual framework for the National Remembrance Education Program.<\/p>

The first five episodes of Sorsford\u00edt\u00f3k<\/a> were premiered in May 2023 at a special press event, to which several classes from the Piarist High School were invited. Students had the chance to watch the films first and immediately put their new knowledge to use in a special quiz.
