CHALLENGE<\/strong><\/p>

In 2025, the Hungarian Heritage House<\/a> published the Folk Art Report for the first time, with the long-term goal of supporting the development of the revival movement and contributing to its broader social and international recognition. The publication set out to map communities active in folk music, folk dance, handicrafts and storytelling, examine the impact of the grants provided by the S\u00e1ndor Cso\u00f3ri Program (CSSP), and analyse the functioning of community-based initiatives. At the same time, it also formulates recommendations for increasing the visibility of folk art and strengthening international connections.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

TASK<\/strong><\/p>

During the design process, we aligned the publication with the recently renewed visual identity of the Hungarian Heritage House. The Folk Art Report received a strongly minimalist cover, featuring the institution\u2019s logo as the sole visual element. However, the intense red colour of the cover and the deliberately oversized logo immediately capture the reader\u2019s attention, encouraging them to leaf through the book despite its neutral, descriptive title.<\/p>

Individual chapters are distinguished by different colours along the outer margin, while the design of charts and diagrams throughout the publication focuses on clarity and accessibility. Both the overall concept and the layout design of the publication were developed in the SaltComm studio.<\/p>
