CHALLENGE<\/strong><\/p>

The Media for Families Award was established in 2007 by the Media for Families Foundation. From the outset, the primary aim of the professional recognition has been to honour print, online, radio and television content that presents the role and significance of family in the media in a value-driven and professionally outstanding way. In addition to Hungarian journalists, media professionals from Hungarian communities beyond the borders have also been recognised since 2016, and by 2025 the foundation had presented a total of 124 awards.<\/p>

The Media for Families Award was renewed in 2026: from that year onwards, both professional and amateur content creators could apply with previously unpublished works on a predefined topic. The best entries, both in the previous and current application formats, could be published monthly in K\u00e9pm\u00e1s Magazine.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

SOLUTION<\/strong><\/p>

SaltComm has been involved in the communication tasks related to the Media for Families Award from the beginning. One important milestone in this nearly two-decade collaboration was the renewal of the Media for Families Foundation\u2019s visual identity in 2020. The new logo design represents different types of media platforms: the L shape refers to print media, the dot to online media and television, while the quotation mark evokes radio formats.<\/p>

We have played a significant role in the communication of the Media for Families Award from the very start. Before each award ceremony, the public has the opportunity to vote for the finalist articles, reports and audio materials they consider the best. Our agency handles the social media and press communication related to the public vote, as well as the pre- and post-event communication tasks connected to the award ceremony each year, including writing press materials, organising interviews and coordinating press on site.<\/p>

RESULT<\/strong><\/p>

Today, the Media for Families Award has become an essential recognition within the Hungarian media profession. At the same time, the award does more than highlight the best media works: thanks to the annual award ceremony, a significant network of partners and supporters has also formed around the Media for Families Foundation and K\u00e9pm\u00e1s Magazine.<\/p>
